Westport was one of 10 communities in Ontario to partner with Come Alive Outside to transform a local street into a temporary park for the day to celebrate the importance of outdoor, unstructured play. We were pleased to welcome Steve Clark, Leeds-Grenville MPP, Mayor Robin Jones and Councilor Parliament among others as speakers at the Opening Ceremony. The event gained excellent traction in both MSM and social media and had people talking about it as far away as New York State and Southwestern Ontario.
