Alexandra is a Marketing & Communications Consultant with over 25 years of experience in marketing, communications, business development and event management in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. She has a formal education in print journalism and has worked in the marketing and communications departments of a PR Agency, a major Marketing Agency, a national magazine, an annual 3-day festival, several non-profit organizations (provincial and national) and at one of the largest loyalty programs in Canada. She has been published in a variety of magazines and online publications and has been a contributing writer for Mechanical Business Magazine since 2017.

She was hired as the Executive Director of the Swedish-Canadian Chamber of Commerce at the age of 24 and from there moved on to become the Executive Director at the Hellenic Heritage Foundation. During the course of her career she has worked with various NPO's in management positions in operations, marketing, communications and business development/event management roles. These experiences led her to start MAVEN Marketing & Communications, a boutique agency providing marketing, communications, events and association management services to businesses across Ontario with a focus on the construction, real estate and non-profit industries.

Her specialty skills include desktop publishing, graphic design, project management, shareholder stewardship, marketing and branding, client relationship building, corporate communications (such as news releases, newsletters, annual reports, websites and presentations), public speaking, trade show management, budget and critical path management, supplier negotiations, association management, ambassador training and business development.
